Whether servicing customers at the spectacular casinos, clubs, hotels or restaurants; or assisting shoppers at the trendy shops and super malls, Dr. Troell knows that “people are drawn to people who are attractive and provide generous tips and financial rewards.”
“From a facial aesthetics standpoint,” Dr. Troell says, “the majority of our treatments are with products such as Disport, Botox or fillers like Perlane and Juvederm. From a body contouring standpoint, Las Vegas patients want the minimum of discomfort, the maximum results and they want to go gamble or enjoy a show that night. Or perform in a show, in many cases.”

To meet those criteria for his body contouring patients, Dr. Troell says, “the non-invasive body treatments can do it with minimal discomfort and with good results that are fairly spontaneous.” And the three most popular concerns, successfully addressed by these treatments are cellulite reduction, fat reduction, and skin tightening.
“Now,” according to Dr. Troell, “fellow physicians ask me, ‘Since you’re an expert in body contouring, especially with non-invasive procedures – and with your research – if I wanted to buy one device, which one should it be?’ So looking at it from my experience and research studies, Venus Legacy from Venus Concept is the superior device to get.

On a more personal note, in addition to his professional procedures and analytics, Dr. Troell talks about his love for Rennaissance Art. And his magnificent collection, displayed amidst his office décor, attests to it.

And his patients know it by their results. They feel it. Dr. Troell noted a 26-year old patient, “a beautiful performer,” who was attractive and thin, but as many women know, that does not always eliminate “the creation of some cellulite, a bit of extra fat and a little bit of extra skin.”
According to Dr. Troell, “This patient said to me, ‘Dr. Troell, I want a procedure where I have virtually no recovery, can go to work the same day and I want superior results.’ She was a great candidate for the Venus Legacy. And the results? You couldn’t tell where there had been any cellulite on her. She got the skin tightening and fat reduction that she wanted…her results were, indeed, superior!”
One of Dr. Troell’s ongoing interests is in doing the research and conducting his own studies to determine “what is the best product for a certain, specific reason.” Looking at facial aesthetics, Dr. Troell is currently comparing three devices that utilize radio frequency including the Venus Viva, which combines NanoFractional Radio Frequency with other proprietary Company technology. While the studies are not yet completed, Dr. Troell has looked at patient reports, comparing the devices.

Right now, Dr. Troell is performing an approved IRV study directly comparing a variety of radio frequency modalities. “One area of the study, using the Venus Viva, is a split-face look at which hand piece tip is superior; the 160 or the deeper-penetrating 80 tip.” Another part of the study is to determine which post-treatment regimen, with Venus Viva, will enable the patient to get the best healing result. Dr. Troell is looking forward to exciting results.
As a young boy, Dr. Troell says he felt a love for dogs, particularly, the Great Pyrenees. The AKC describes this breed as “conveying the distinct impression of elegance and unsurpassed beauty…great overall size and majesty.” To Dr. Troell, looking into the dog’s eyes, “the immense moral character of the dog pierces your heart.”
