In terms of demographics, though, are TikTok’s users similar in age and income to those seeking aesthetic treatments? It turns out, yes: 25% of users are between 25-34, 20% are between 35-44, and 26% are between 45-64. Female users outweigh male 2:1, and most promising, 37% are in an annual income bracket of over $100k. So far, the most avid TikTok users are Gen Z and Millennials, the fastest-growing customer base for aesthetic treatments.

And remember, it can take time to build a following, and even longer to see those followers turn into clients. As long as you’re consistent, it will happen.

Influencers are social media mavens that offer up-to-date, trendy content to their legions of followers, and businesses sponsor them to get products or services in front of their audience. It’s an excellent way to dip a toe into the TikTok world without having to do the work of building a following of your own, first.
